DMS started the
largest MIS system in Egypt. The objective was
to develop the National Social Insurance System
through a national network that covers all Egypt
using five IBM Mainframes and over one thousand
operating terminals.
The Egyptian
National Social Insurance project is considered
one of the largest MIS projects to be
implemented worldwide (at that time). Due to
the resounding success of this project,
DMS has been
chosen to extend the project to cover all the
Ministry Of Insurance’s activities to implement
the "National Pension Insurance & Nasr Social
Bank" ventures. |
